Dantre Langhorne - Lanky But Can Light You Up - Unsigned Class of 2011
Dantre Langhorne, 2011, plays for a small school way out on the east end of Long Island. He has been a part of a run by Greenport High School of 6 consecutive county championships, finally becoming the featured player this season after the graduation of Ryan Creighton, who is second on New York State's All-Time Scoring List behind Lance Stephenson. In Langhorne's first year as the star, he averaged over 21 points per game and showed a solid versatility, playing a lot of point guard while standing 6'5". Because he goes to such a small school, there has been a lack of buzz about his game, and there are rumors that he may be going prep after this year in order to get his name out there. During his sophomore season he dropped 25 on the historic Archbishop Molloy of New York City, and 28 in the state semi-final. Deandre McCamey - St. Joseph - Highlight Mixtape - "Down But Never Out"
When Deandre McCamey entered high school, everything seemed to be going just right. The star on the sophomore team as a freshman, starting varsity point guard as a sophomore, and big time AAU tournaments with the Illinois Wolves- then injuries put everything on hold. After a long recovery period Deandre returned to the court, and though it took him some time to return to form, he had a terrific senior season for a very good St. Joes squad, playing for legendary coach Gene Pingatore and alongside fellow seniors Wayne Simon, Mantas Dubauskas, and Brandon Carr. ESPN.com had this to say: "This very strong and physical combination guard is an excellent passer and defender. McCamey wears two knee sleeves but it does not keep him from competing and attacking on both ends." Though being injured may have weakened his body, it strengthened his mind, resolve and work ethic. Whatever college ends up landing him is going to be getting a kid who will have an impact in their program from day one, as there aren't many players in the nation with as much knowledge, passion and experience as Deandre McCamey... Jay Harris - Oswego East 2010 - Highlight Mixtape - Second Coming of Stephen Curry
You would be hard pressed to find a player in America who finished their senior season on more of a tear than Jay Harris of Oswego East. The sharp shooting combo guard has been playing out of his mind. Harris ranks as the #5 prospect in Illinois on ESPN.com, which seems like a ridiculous jump considering some experts didn't even have him in the top 25 before the season started. Furthermore, I'll be the first to say that there is a chance that Mr. Harris could realistically be the second best player, and third best prospect in the state right now (behind Jereme Richmond and Meyers Leonard). KC Frosh Phenom Ishmail Wainwright Receiving Recruiting Attention
Raytown South (Mo) High School currently has one of the best freshman in the nation attending their school. Ishmail Wainwright, a 2013 3/4 is one of the most physically impressive freshman in his class, and is currently a top 25 player in his class. Wainwright, standing 6'5" 1/2, 214 pounds, is a physically imposing specimen who has a skill level to match his impressive physique.
Although only a freshman, Wainwright is being recruited by a Who's Who of the the college basketball world. He lists "Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, West Virginia, Florida, Texas, Missouri State, UMKC, Pitt and a few more" as the schools showing him the most interest at the moment. Baylor, Missouri and Texas have all offered this freshman phenom. Wainwright lists his favorites as, "UNC, Kentucky, Texas, Kansas, Florida and Baylor" and would like to visit Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, and Duke before making any kind of college decision.
Wainwright also had a little bit to say about what he is looking for in a college. "I'm looking for one of the best coaches, one that can help me on and off the court," said Wainwright,"I want a coach that is be hard on me about the game of basketball and also my books. I kind of want to go far away but they tell me that that's bad, but I don't pay attention to that 'cause I want to be the best."

Alex Dragicevich - Serbian Sensation - Highlight Mixtape - Notre Dame Recruit
Highlights of Alex Dragicevich, the #4 ranked senior in Illinois, from games at the Proviso West Holiday Tournament, the Deron Williams Shootout at the Hall, and in a game against CSL rival Deerfield and Wisconsin recruit Duje Dukan. Alex is a 6'7" G/F and is signed to play college basketball at Notre Dame.

Lawrence Alexander of Peoria Manual High School has a big game against 29-0 Fieldcrest. He finished with 31 points and ended Fieldcrest's season at 29-1

Pat Miller- Hales Franciscan- "Chicago Respect" Highlight Mixtape
Patrick Miller had some buzz around him when he committed to Tennessee State before his senior season, but it was nothing to brag about. Then he hit the court for Hales as a senior, and that buzz became a roar- it seemed with the drop of a dime the entire city took notice of this talented young hooper. He didn't slow down one bit, and has had a senior campaign good enough to warrant talk of him being a candidate to make first team All-State. Nigel Williams-Goss will go down in history as the first baller ever to commit to spending all four years of his high school career at Findlay Prep. Only in it's third year of existence, Coach Mike Peck's program has taken the grassroots basketball world by storm, winning last year's national championship, producing multiple McDonald's All-Americans, and helping set a new standard of what a prep basketball team can accomplish. What Coach Peck is doing at Findlay has raised the bar for high school athletes everywhere- his players are redefining the limits of what can be expected from an elite prep athlete. While most kids are partaking in video games, lazy summer days and school dances, these boys are busy beating teams all over America, dedicating themselves to a college style training program, and working hard to fill their minds to capacity with any and all information that can help them become the most college ready young men in America. Nigel is the first freshman ever to enroll in Findlay. Nigel is the first young man bold enough to - at age 14 - commit to casting aside the life of a normal teenager - the life of a local big man on campus -to devote himself to doing anything and everything in his power to make sure that he makes his dream of being an NBA superstar come true. After listening to this young man talk for just a a few seconds, it's impossible not to be excited for what the next four years have in store for young Nigel. It sure is going to be fun to watch...

High school basketball at its finest. Highlights of Wisconsin recruit Duje Dukan and Iowa recruit Ben Brust from a regular season game between Deerfield and Mundelein. Both players lived up to their reputations in this one, and the game went down to the wire.

Doug Ferguson's Big Board for the 2010 NBA Draft

Mike Shaw 6'8" 2011 Ultimate Basketball Mixtape
Mike Shaw (Chicago De La Salle 2011) is one of the elite basketball prospects in the nation. The versatile forward competes on the AAU circuit with the Mac Irvin Fire, where he teams with fellow elite 2011 prospects Wayne Blackshear, Sam Thompson, Andre Henley, and Macari Brooks. This highlight reel features his top plays from the City of Palms holiday tournament, the from games against Chicago Catholic League powerhouses Hales Franciscan and Mt. Carmel.

Some schools don't rebuild, they reload. Coach Gene Pingatore has been as St. Joseph for what seems to some people like a million years, and in that time he has produced more big time basketball players than any coach in Illinois high school history. From Isiah Thomas to Evan Turner, St. Joes kids always have game, and Wayne Simon and Deandre McCamey are next in line.
Proviso East Dynasty: Keith Carter, Lamar Moss, Rishaad Alexander, Shannon Brown, and Doc Rivers
Maywood's water supply must be contaminated with the point guard gene, because the amount of big time backcourt studs that come out of Proviso East is astonishing, especially considering the fact that it's a public community high school. From Doc Rivers, to Michael Finley, to Dee Brown and Jacob Pullen, the Pirates with sleeves will never go a year without a superstar running the team or waiting in the wings for their shot. This generation's stud: sophomore Keith Carter. The kid's court vision is ridiculous. His backcourt mates Lamar Moss and Rishaad Alexander aren't half bad either....
